Communication plays a very important role in the success of your child's school year. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me. The best time to reach me during the day is from 8:45-9:15 or after school until 4:00 (402-492-2111).
This is my 20th year at St. Vincent's. In 1997, I was hired to teach 6th grade and the following year moved up to 8th grade. I love this age group!!
The 8th graders study American history. They will have two major projects this year and will have first and second semester finals. The 7th graders study world geography. They will be focusing on different regions of the world and specifically examine the cultural and geographical features of each region. My grading policy: daily work accounts for 50% of the total grade and tests and quizzes account for 50% of the total grade.
My husband, Randy, and I have been married for 19 years. I have twin boys who will be in 7th grade here at St. Vincent de Paul this year!! I am originally from Earling, Iowa. I attended Creighton University and graduated with a double major in Education and Psychology in 1997. In 2003, I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Development. This summer, I started another Master's program. I will be working on my Administration degree for the next two years!
