This is my 21st year at St. Vincent de Paul. In 1997, I was hired to teach 6th grade and the following year moved up to 8th grade. I love this age group!!
My husband, Randy, and I have been married for 20 years. I have twin boys who will be in 8th grade here at St. Vincent de Paul this year!! I am originally from Earling, Iowa. I attended Creighton University and graduated with a double major in Education and Psychology in 1997. In 2003, I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Development. Last summer, I started another Master's program. I will be working on my Administration degree this year and will finish in May!!

Classroom Information and Links
The 8th graders study American history. They will have two major projects this year and will have first and second semester finals. The 7th graders study world geography. They will be focusing on different regions of the world and specifically examine the cultural and geographical features of each region. My grading policy: daily work accounts for 50% of the total grade and tests and quizzes account for 50% of the total grade.
