Welcome to High Ability Learning with Mrs. Miller!

 

The HAL classroom provides specialized classes for students that meet specific academic criteria in math and reading.  The setting provides students interaction with peers as well as developing higher order thinking skills.  The program is designed to be fluid, allowing students to move between the regular classroom and HAL classroom as their learning needs change during the year.  

This is my 6th year of teaching at St. Vincent de Paul School, and my 3rd year as the HAL Strategist.  With each year I am amazed by all my students and feel that we learn much from each other.  I graduated from UNO with an Elementary Education Degree with an emphasis in teaching Intermediate Grades.  Currently, I am finishing my Masters Degree in High Ability Learners through the University of Nebraska Kearney.
