We've been in school for two weeks and the students are adjusting well to the new schedule and routines. For some, the tears have lingered a little longer than for others!

A big thank you to the overwhelming number of you who offered to provide donations for our class or those who offered to help with various activities throughout the year. We're off to a great start!
In September, I look forward to getting to know your child better and will continue to assess your child's skills so I can meet your child's academic needs. Below are the topics and skills we will be working on in each subject area.

Handwriting: basic strokes-vertical/horizontal/slant lines, circles

Science: 5 senses
Social Studies: School rules, how to solve problems with friends
English: Following two-step directions, rhyming words, nouns as naming words

˜Sept. 17: Progress Reports go home...These reports give parents a brief summary of how your child is doing academically and socially.
˜Sept. 24: $.50 Dress Down Day-Please refer to the handbook for appropriate dress on this day.
