WELCOME TO SECOND GRADE! Second grade is a fun-filled environment that allows children the opportunity to engage in learning through a variety of different experiences.

Second grade is a very exciting year as the students prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Throughout the subject areas students are challenged to learn new concepts.

This is my fourth year teaching 2nd grade at St. Vincent de Paul and I have 16 years of experience in the Archdiocese of Omaha. I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year. Together we will help your child grow academically and spiritually.

Our classroom has been blessed with a full-time associate, Mrs. Flo Helmick. She has been a part of St. Vincent de Paul for many years. She will be helping students individually and in small groups to reinforce skills that have been taught. Her presence is a valuable asset to our classroom success.
