WELCOME TO SECOND GRADE! Second grade is a fun-filled environment that allows children the opportunity to engage in learning through a variety of different experiences.

Second grade is a very exciting year as the students prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Throughout the subject areas students are challenged to learn new concepts.

This is my 18th year teaching at St. Vincent de Paul and have over thirty years of teaching experience in the Archdiocese of Omaha.  I graduated from UNO with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education.   I am looking forward to getting to know and working with your child this year.

Our classroom has a full-time associate, Mrs. Kathie Lane.  Kathie and I have been working together for many years and her presence is invaluable.  She will be working with the students individually and in small groups to reinforce skills that have been taught.
