Welcome to Mrs. Jones' Fifth Grade!

I received a B.S. degree from Creighton University, and a M.S. degree from Peru State College.  I am entering my 17th year of teaching.  I taught a 5th and 6th grade combined class for 3 years at St. Michael's in Fairbury, NE, and have been teaching 5th grade at St. Vincent de Paul for 14 years.

I teach all of the 5th graders Social Studies, in which they will spend the year learning about American History. I also teach Religion, Spelling, Vocabulary, Reading, and Math to all of the students in my homeroom, Room 51.
