Welcome to Mrs. Stec's Fifth Grade Classroom! I have completed 12 years of teaching, all at St. Vincent de Paul. I was the Educational Strategist for grades 5-8 for six years and then moved to the fifth grade. I received my undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education at Northwest Missouri State University and my Master's degree in Teaching Learning Disabilities at UNO. I teach all fifth grade homerooms science and strive to incorporate hands-on activities to facilitate learning. Students will also enhance their learning by completing research projects. I will teach my homeroom students religion, spelling, vocabulary, reading as well as a math class.
