Choosing a Catholic education provides a strong Christian foundation to help form the values and high-ethical standards that your child will live by for the rest of his or her life. At SVdP, we are honored to walk alongside you in this journey of education and faith.
Admission to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School requires completion of a new student registration form for families new to the school and annual required forms for families of current students.
Welcome to St. Vincent de Paul! If you are registering a child with SVdP for the first time, we invite you to explore our various grade level programs and contact Courtney Eden at edenc@svdpomaha.org to start the registration process.
St. Vincent de Paul School is proud to offer 2-day, 3-day and 5-day preschool options to our families. Our Preschool program promotes and supports the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, language, and cognitive development of young children by facilitating active learning experiences. We are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where all children can learn and grow.
At SVdP, we have an all-day, five-day Kindergarten program. Each day the students are provided opportunities to grow socially, academically, and spiritually, engaging in hands-on activities and prayer-filled learning.
Our Grades 1–8 form students in faith, knowledge and character. Rooted in Catholic values, we provide a strong academic foundation while nurturing each child’s spiritual growth, critical thinking, and sense of service. In a supportive community, students are offered the opportunity to learn and succeed in ways that match their God-given talents.
SVdP After School Care (ASC) is a structured, activity-oriented program for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. ASC is an option for students who need care post school dismissal. Limited availability.
St. Vincent de Paul will not discriminate against students on the basis of race, ethnic background, religion or sex. Because we are religiously oriented for the Catholic community, we give preference to members of our own parish community, but are open to students from other religious denominations. It is also our policy that no child will be denied the opportunity to receive a Catholic, grade-school education as a result of unbearable financial hardship and burden to the family. Several options are available to these families and may be discussed with the parish pastor. Prospective students and their parents are invited to visit the school to meet students, faculty and administrative staff.
