Students working together in class

Grades 1-8

We provide students in Grades 1-8 with a strong academic and spiritual foundation that supports growth during the elementary and middle school years. In a faith-centered environment, students are encouraged to develop their God-given talents and academic gifts to excel into high-school and beyond.

Our Approach

Through engaging instruction and an ambitious curriculum, students build essential skills in core subjects as well as religious education, art, music, physical education, guidance, technology, and Spanish. Teachers provide age-appropriate instruction that encourages students to think independently, work collaboratively, and become lifelong learners.

What We Provide

Our Grades 1–8 program combines academic excellence with faith formation to help students grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially. We accomplish this with:

  • A safe, nurturing, and faith-centered learning environment.
  • Strong academic instruction across all core subject areas.
  • Integration of Catholic values into daily learning and school life.
  • Technology and hands-on experiences that enhance learning.
  • Service opportunities that encourage compassion and responsibility.
  • A welcoming community where every student is known and valued.

Returning Student Registration

All current K-7 students will need to register for grades 1-8 for the 2026-27 school year. To complete registration, parents will need to access Ecollect from their parent PowerSchool accounts beginning February 9 and follow the steps below:

  • Log into your parent PowerSchool account. Logging in using student credentials will not give you access to registration forms.
  • Select a student from the top menu bar.
  • Click on Ecollect forms in the left navigation pane for that student. Two online forms (Basic Student and Parent Information AND Intent to Enroll) will be required for all children.
  • Make any updates/changes for pre-populated data fields, provide information requested for other fields, and then submit each form.
  • Additionally, all families will need to complete a Parish Involvement form for one child per family. After completing the Parish Involvement form for one child, you can ignore the form for all other children in the family. If you have previously completed the Parish Involvement form as part of Preschool or Kindergarten registration for next year, you can ignore the form for all other children who will be entering grades 1-8 next year.
  • Repeat steps 1-6 as needed for all children

All information you update and enter will directly transfer into PowerSchool, so please verify accuracy before submitting. Please avoid the use of all caps when entering data.

It is imperative that all families complete and submit these forms to hold their child’s spot for the 2026-2027 school year. Registration forms are due by March 2, 2026. Some of our grade levels have or will have waiting lists, and we want to honor our present families prior to accepting new students. You will be notified if you do not meet the guidelines for acceptance.

Payment and Tuition

Registration fees and tuition payments for students entering Grades 1-8 will be billed and collected through SVdP’s FACTS online payment management system. Each fiscal year, you will receive a separate email from FACTS which will provide information on paying your registration fees and setting up your tuition payment plan.
