eFunds for Schools

St. Vincent de Paul School works with eFunds for Schools to provide a simple and secure online payment system for parents wishing to make online deposits to student lunch accounts and pay any athletic fees.

Access eFunds for Schools

eFunds is a simple way for parents to monitor and pay student lunch balances and athletic fees. Additionally, parents can view their current student lunch balances in either eFunds or through PowerSchool. If you have any issues with your account, please contact Ray Bentzen at bentzenr@svdpomaha.org.

Create an Account

  1. Visit eFunds for Schools and select Register Here in the New Users section
  2. Enter account information and select Create Account/Sign Up
  3. Enter in your payment information, electronic check or debit/credit card, and set up any low-balance notifications as desired.
  4. To add students for lunch deposit purposes, select Manage Account, then select Manage Students to enter a student ID number and the student’s last name (contact the school office if you do not know your child’s ID number). Repeat as needed for all children in the family.
  5. Once all children have been linked to your account, you will be able to make online payments.
  6. To make a payment, select the payment option desired.  If funding lunch, you will then need to select a student and enter the amount being paid.  Payment for all other fee options in eFunds is made by simply entering the amount being paid.  You can add money to more than one student’s lunch account and/or pay for other fees all in a single transaction.

Use of eFunds for school lunch balances is completely optional, but convenient. Parents may continue to send checks or cash to school for deposit on lunch accounts.

Payment Options & Fees

A $1.50 convenience fee will be charged for payments made from a checking account via ACH authorization; credit or debit card payments will be charged a $2.95 fee per $100.00 deposit increment (i.e. $2.95 for transaction amounts up to $100.00, $5.90 for transaction amounts greater than $100.00 up to $200.00, and so on).  Processing more than one payment option at the same time means those multiple combined option count as only one transaction in terms of fees charged. SVdP does not receive a share of the convenience fees; those fees are used to fund our online payment agreement with eFunds for Schools.

Should a payment to eFunds for Schools be declined for reason of insufficient funds or account closure, SVdP will receive an email notification that the attempted payment is considered Uncollectable; eFunds will not attempt to run a payment through a second time.  Any credits applied to student lunch accounts or other fees due will be removed.
