Welcome to Mrs. Sullivan's 7th & 8th Grade social studies!


Hello!  My name is Michelle Sullivan and this is my 30th year of teaching.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College.  I have worked in a variety of educational settings including 19 years as a Montessori teacher.  This is my second year at SVdP.  Last year I worked as the 6th-8th grade Educational Strategist and am excited to be teaching Social Studies this year.  Please feel free to call me at the school number (402-492-2111) or email me anytime with questions or concerns.  

Classroom Information and Links

The 8th graders study American History. There will be a variety of individual and group projects throughout the year.   The 7th graders study World Geography and will also be involved in individual and small group projects throughout the year.  Both 7th and 8th graders will focus on integrating writing into their daily work.
