MUSIC

Welcome to Music Class for grades 6-8.

My name is Carter Leeka. This will be my third year at St. Vincent, and my 31st year in Catholic education settings. My exprience includes teaching vocal, instrumental and general music from Pre-K to College levels. This year, the 6th grade will explore World Music and Cultures, while the 7th and 8th graders will explore Music Around Us. We will be creating, performing and responding to a wide variety of musics. I will be directing the Spring Play again this year. My theater experience includes work in educational, community and professional settings. This year, I will be at SVdP on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
